Baptism Invitaions

I got Caleb's Baptism invitations order and mailed off today. I got up early and sent them to be printed at Walmart via the internet. When I went to pick them up I looked at them before I left. It was a good thing because their color was off and the invitations were PURPLE instead of BLUE! Needless to say I was ticked! So I got a refund and ended up taking them up town to get them printed. They turned out perfect! I was so excited! Now I am hoping that they get to Canada in time. We are taking Caleb up there to be Baptized. We can hardly wait.
BTW I took his picture and then had
www.lds-baptisms.com make the invitations. They did such a great job!

Today was Chase's Kindergarten program. He sang and danced his heart out. It was so cute! All of the kids have had the same kindergarten teacher; Mrs. Womack, she is a superb teacher! Her love for teaching is evident and Chase has benefited from it this year. He has really enjoyed kindergarten and has learned a lot. He is reading and I love to hear him sound words out. He is a social butterfly and that sometimes gets him into trouble. His best friend Taite Priestley is in his class this year and they can't get enough of each other. I can't believe that our baby is going to be in first grade this year and all of the kids will be in school full time. WOW! how time flies.

X-Men Origin: Wolverine

Tonight we took the kids to X-Men. We are a Marvel Comic loving family! This was the best X-Men that they have come out with so far. The high action pact; the cool mutants, it totally ROCKS! The boys will be talking about this flick for a long time! It will defiantly be added to the DVD collection. It is a must see, you won't regret it!

HaPpY BiRtHdAy CaLeB

Today is Caleb's Birthday. He is the big 8! He wanted an IPOD shuffle and his own bulk pack of Juicy Fruit Gum. We took him and the family out to dinner. He chose to go to El Toro Viejo, a yummy Mexican restaurant in Logan. We took him to the movie Race to Witch Mountain. It was a typical Disney Production. I can't believe that he is eight years old. He is so excited to be getting baptized. We are taking him to Canada so Grandpa and Grandma Coleman can be a part of this special day. Caleb is such a kind boy. He is so thoughtful and tries his best to make good choices. He loves life and is always busy making the most of it. He is such an important part of our family and we are so blessed to have him in it. We love you Caleb!

FCMC FuN RuN/BiKe RiDe

Today I took the boy's to do the FCMC fun run/bike ride. Let me tell you we had FUN! Holden was the WINNER for the 3.1 mike BIKE RACE.....in his age category and over all the bike riders:) YEAH HOLDIE! I signed up Caleb and Chase to do the 1 mile bike ride. Caleb made the right turn and Chase just kept on going. Chase ended up doing the 3.1 mile bike ride. Caleb came in FIRST in his age category and Chase took THIRD for his age category! What a fun experience for the kid's. There is a good little pull that you have to go up and Chase was so excited to tell me that he rode up it."I didn't even get off my bike mom, I rode up the whole thing" is what he told me. Chase wants to try the mile run next time and Caleb wants to do the 3.1 mile ride. Holden of course is sticking with his bike. He really loves his road bike. Sounds like his dad! I am so proud of them!!! I ran the 5k and finished it in 25:51. Racing against a bunch of 19 year old's, I was happy with my time.

MoM's BaCk iN ScHooL

On Monday I started my online classes. I am really scared and yet excited about this new adventure that I am undertaking. I am taking 3 classes that are worth 9 credits, Nutrition, English and Human Development. I really hope that I can pull this off. I have really enjoyed my job as an assistant preschool teacher but it is time for me to move on. I am really excited about getting my teaching degree. I really enjoy teaching and hope to one day have my own classroom:) I am planning on having my pre-requisites completed in 2 years and than getting into the ELED program and attending class on campus for the following 2 years. We will have to see what happens and I am hoping for the best:)

SaNdEe

Well we went and got us another puppy today. We found her on KSL.com. She is an apricot cockapoo and the boy's love her. We have changed her name to Sandee(her name was Sugar Cookie). She is 5 months old and is already house broke! Yeah for me!!! Her previous owners couldn't keep her due to the wife's chronic illness. The puppy was just to much for her to keep up with. The day that we had to get rid of Payton was a sad day for the kid's. Tracen felt so bad that he had to get rid of their best friend. He got on KSL to try and find them a house dog but nothing seemed to jump right out at him. We went on our weekly date and talked about what we were looking for. While he was growing up they had a Black cockapoo named Sugar. She was the best dog that they ever had and lived a long time. Wyatt remembers her and he was a little tike. We decide that we would try and find a cockapoo. When we got home form our date I got on KSl and wouldn't you know it, the first dog to pop up was a apricot cockapoo puppy. Tracen and I decided to call the owner and he said he had just posted his ad 5 minutes ago. I asked him a few questions about the dog and told him that I would call him back. Tracen and I talked it over and we decide that she was the one. Divine intervention, I do believe so. Our Father in Heaven knows each and eveyone of his children. He is sensitive to our needs and knows when we are sad. He new that our kid's were heartbroken and he knew how to fix it. We drove to SLC today and got her. She will fit right in just fine. Oh ya....now there are two girls in the family:)
